Zephyrs win opening series

The Defending T-Town Wiffle Ball League World Champion Zerbe Zephyrs came out of the gate strong taking two out of three from the Dingers.  The Dingers were able to take game one on the back of some early Zephyr defensive miscues and timely hitting with runners on base to take a big lead before holding off the Zephyrs.  World Championship Trophy presentation night was not spoiled as the Zephyrs were able to win games two and three on the backs of strong pitching from Anthony Ippolito and Adrian Bordner. Ippolito also led the Zephyr offense with three home runs on the night. The Dingers proved to be a scrappy bunch with a strong come back in game two that came up three runs short.
